Liberty Shipyard in the heart of the Mediterranean is the only facility in the world specialising in the design and construction of a new generation of hydrofoils. The shipyard excels in expertise, professionalism, technological innovation and attention o standards of safety and quality.

A team of engineers, many with over twenty years experience in the field of fast sea passenger transport, is available to meet individual customer needs. Located in Trapani, the shipyard has built and delivered the first admiral 250 Class Hydrofoil, named "Carlo Morace". A second Admiral 250 is actually under construction for Ustica Lines and also the first Admiral 350 Class Hydrofoil is under construction.

These new generation hydrofoils set new standards in fast sea transport. Surface piercing foils combined with cutting edge electronic instrumentation give extremely low fuel consumption, higher speeds, greater vessel stability and increased passenger comfort.

Liberty Shipyard offers the best solution for high-speed operators wanting to develop their business and to expand and improve the performance of their fleet. Liberty Shipyard is based in the Port of Trapani on the north west coast of Sicily in a strategic position in the Mediterranean and enjoys a wonderful climate. Trapani has its own airport and Palermo airport is just 90 kilometres away. The construction and ship repair yard is dedicated exclusively to high-speed passenger vessels, especially hydrofoils, catamarans and mono-hulls.

The eighty-six workers, together with about thirty contractors, have extensive technical experience and the offices are home to a team of highly qualified naval architects and engineers.
